Cuisinart ICE-50BC Ice Cream makerSep 09, 2006
I have been using this ice cream maker since June-2006. It makes very good ice cream and it is very easy compared to other ice cream makers I have had in the past (not Cuisinart). It is nice not to have to bother to freeze the mixing bowl beforehand. However, one thing that I do not understand is why the motor has to be so noisy. It is by far the noisiest apppliance I have ever owned. So, if that is going to bother you I would suggest buying another machine. It is so loud that I can't listen to my kitchen tv while it is running. It seems to quiet down a little when the ice cream starts to thicken.
